# AGMARK

> AGMARK (Agricultural Market Development Trust) is a Kenya-based non-profit social enterprise that strengthens agricultural markets across Eastern, Western and Southern Africa: training agro-dealers, linking smallholder farmers to markets, and building structured cross-border grain trade.

Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, AGMARK has 22+ years of field experience, having trained 12,000+ agro-dealers and supported over 2.4 million smallholder farmers across 18 African countries. Core program areas: agro-dealer network development via the Hub and Spoke Model, Cross-Border Trade Association (CBTA) capacity building at key East and Southern African border points (Busia, Namanga, Tunduma, Nakonde, Kasumulu, Songwe), farmer-to-market linkages, and gender- and youth-inclusive agricultural programming. Funding and implementation partners include AGRA, USAID, WFP, IFAD, AfDB, IFDC, CNFA, Syngenta, AFAP, CGA, ICRW, and Yara.
